🎑 Guild Wars 2 Where To Buy Bags
Comments. Join Steven as he breaks down the state of Guild Wars 2's cash shop in 2020. Guild Wars 2 has come a long way from its humble Buy to Play days. ArenaNet has always touted a fair cash
8 bags x18 slots, 6-wide => 1 invisible for character's stuff, 1 normal bag to gather what doesn't go elsewhere, especially containers that are then close to top and rdy for opening, 1 fractal rare bag to sort rares so I TP (long ago) or salvage with better kit, 3 normal gear bags that gather all armors/weapons for easy&quick salvage without
An extra 12 inventory for 219g vs buying another bag slot for a +20 inventory at 132g seems like a no-brainer. I pulled up gw2efficiency to check the cost on the Reinforced Boreal Trunk (32 slots) and was surprised to see it's actually higher than I expected (231g 24s 80c). I remember them being significantly less expensive due to the reduced quantity of Supreme Runes of Holding required, but
windbliss.3158. I would suggest salvaging blue unidentified gear outright. If you have the space and want a shot at the rare chance of a rare out, open greens, otherwise salvage. Same thing with yellow -- there's a slight chance at exotics but don't hold your breath. Convenience vs. time and space.
Eternal Ice Shards are one of the most useful currencies in the game. Here's how you can use them: Exchange for LS4 map currencies, which you can consume to farm Volatile Magic and exchange for Trophy Shipments. These give T5 and T6 materials which you can either sell or use for Legendary Armor (this is how I got my 3 sets of Legendary armor
Since nobody else has mentioned it: It's actually cheaper (by about two gold) to convert gold to gems and buy a 15 slot bag to fill the new slot than it is to buy a 20 slot bag. Anything larger than a 15 slot bag is probably not cost effective. If you're new, you may as well buy some 8 slot bags on the trading post. They're ridiculously cheap.
Depends. GW2 is often called the no-grind MMO, and it's true in terms of equipment. Exotic quality equipment is trivial to obtain, and above that, there's only Ascended, which does take effort, but is the ultimate gear level. As in it's the highest and will stay so, forever. That said, there's a cosmetics grind, if you so desire.

They're also in the drop table for a number of loot bags. This wiki page has a nice list of all the places where you can get them.
It's mildly useful if you have karma building up and don't have anything to spend it on. The Converter is very RNG dependent, as with most things in this game, you only get a choice of 3 different things each day, one of which is always 3 Obsidian Shards. tl;dr it's a nicety, but certainly not a necessity. 11. It honestly all depends on the rarity of the bag you are opening. To be safe, just open the "Bags of Masterwork Gear" and Green/Blue bags on the lower level and open orange ones on 80. Yellows never drop from the bags of masterwork gear. I couldn't find any solid research on yellow item drop rates in orange bags because there is so much
So, a 20-slot WvW bag costs, at most, around 3g per extra slot (over 18-slot, once you have sold your 18-slot bags). Definitely cheaper than buying extra bag slots. Even regular 20-slot bags can currently be crafted for 10g 8s, they can be bought for even less at the current buy price.

If you don't care about chest farming, next best option would be to buy Bags of Stolen Goods. You can sell them for currently 4.75 silver on the Trading Post or you can try your luck with opening them for a chance of T6 materials. 2. fictitiousacct. • 9 yr. ago. Either bag of stolen goods for chance of materials or bag of sandy loot for luck. 1.
